  12.   I once looked up Saints (Roman Catholic kind) who were anti-Semitic.
  13. All I can remember now are

  15. 1) St. John Chrysostom(Sp?)- Known and Sainted for his oratorical
  16. powers. In his spare time when he wasn't preaching Christianity he
  17. whipped up anti-Jewish riots
  18.  
  19. 2) St. Juan Irbela(spelling again?)- of Spain. A bishop who had lots
  20. to do with kicking the Jews out of Spain.

  22.   The machinery for declaring/deciding sainthood is very complex with
  23. a "devil's advocate" whose job it is to dig up all the dirt on the
  24. proposed saint. Apparently murderous anit-semitic leanings are/were
  25. not considered "dirt" by the Church.
