- Hello. Does anyone know of a good standalone "Motif-like" GUI
- for MSDOS? I know that it is possible to find these, but I think
- that they are commercial products only.
-
- How I know: There's a GRRRREAT PD paint program on wuarchive called
- "NEOPAINT.EXE" and the paint program is nice and all, but the REAL
- suprise is the environment! It has the look-and-feel of Motif, and
- most definately is programmed in an OO language. If anyone has any
- information on this PD program, like where they got the GUI from, or
- if they wrote it themselves, PLEASE TELL ME!
-
- If nothing is available in the public domain, I am considering writing
- one. Hell, UNIX was originially PD, why not release a PD windowing
- system that others can add on to? Maybee even turn it into a PD
- operating system to compete with Wnt!
