  11. These "portable hard drives" that have appeared in many of the mail order
  12. catalogues also use the printer port as their connection point.  When I 
  13. first saw one of these things, I thought 'how in the heck can they get
  14. bidirectional data flow on a centronics port'.  I asked around a bit, and
  15. never got a satisfactory response.
