- If the problem is how to deal with a channel when the one channel op
- leaves, why not institute an automatic kick for everyone on the channel?

- You would have to be sure a connection was established with the ops
- server first, as to be sure that therre hadn't been a netsplit, but
- otherwise, might it not work, with a few modifications?

- One modification might be to make it so the previous channel-op had to wait
- longer to rejoin the channel than the others- so that in effect he couldn't
- do an automatic kick of everyone around without losing the chance of
- getting the channel op back for him/herself.
