  13. hmm here's a different idea:
  14. if you're tired of seeing mode changes on #hotsex
  15. make a new channel
  16. then invite those you want there
  17. put a topic on there (sticks channel out to new people if it's interesting)
  18. this was tried on #+hottub
  19. for old tub users
  20. except they had only one bot
  21. the channel was +i
  22. bot would invite people as asked
  23. but only it and people on list would get oper status for channel
  24. and any other bot was banned from channel
  25. well not banned but requested to owners not to joine...
  26. it worked for a while (i don't know if channel's still around ) but it was
  27. up for a few weeks to a month
  28. there are other good channels besides #hotsex
  29. i've seen other channels that have lots of people
  30. so start up your own channel and invite people there (don't mass invite)
  31. but invite people
  32. i have my own channel i join #dragonia  people just come to me on that
  33. channel sure i have bots join the channel too..
  34. as long as they'll op my bot i'll let em on.. cause tis the home of
  35. dragonbot when people get tired of him.. 
  36. db was made with people (users) in mind.. at least this version was
  37. and auto op doesn't work except for those over level 50 ?
  38. it's a quiet bot that won't auto rejoin a channel..
  39. only go where it's told and will leave when a db op of high enough level
  40. tells it to or a person kicks him
  41. oh well enough talking from me.. 
  42. there is no real solution for bots.. people will only program them with
  43. themselves in mind (most people that is) or just cause it can be done and
  44. they think they are coool...
