  30. Really?  Perhaps this is the case in your little backwater.

  32. The facilities provided by Universities and Colleges varies widely,
  33. as does the who/how/when/what of access.  If this is important to
  34. you, then this is something you should consider in choosing a school
  35. (this is also how you will get the attention of Administrators --
  36. through their pocketbooks).

  38. Computing facilities *are* akin to library facilities (I really doubt
  39. you have a specific intrinsic or contractual right to use either).
  40. In fact, not so long ago, most libraries did not allow (undergrad)
  41. students into the stacks (starting to sound familiar?).
