  12. As long as we're on the subject of finger, here's my three cents worth:

  14.     1)  The OWNER field of the UAF entry that finger gets
  15.         contains (at our site) a social security number
  16.         as well as a "name".  We'd like to be able to modify
  17.         the finger source to print only the name, and strip
  18.         the first nine characters (the sosh).
  19.  
  20.     2)  The plan file that finger prints _could very well_ contain
  21.         nasties that wreak havoc with terminals that are looking
  22.         for the right thing.  I believe that filtering _this_
  23.         information is what would be useful.
