- MSMail on a TGV NFS VAX/VMS volume, bizarre symtoms. We have been running
- an MSMail postoffice on this VAX for months with few problems. We are
- testing TGV Multinet on the VAX and I switch myself to a PC NFS Client
- and brought up my mail on that same physical volume. It JUST worked!

- But, then we tried to add my partner as a NEW mail user and he can never
- seem to get onto the server. It will let ME sign on as him, and his client
- mail is set up correctly enough that HE can sign on as ME, but not as himself
- on HIS machine. Ok, so we are running different TCP/IP NFS clients, I
- guess I have to believe that MIGHT be the reason. We have tentatively
- chosen the version he is using and I am in the process of changing both
- to make sure it works and to see if the symptoms are reproducible.
-
- Any ideas or similar experiences?
