- Hi
-
- I am running multinet 3.1 rev d on vms 5.5-1 and mounting nfs disks
- from an ultrix 4.2 system.
-
- The problem I am having is that some of the ultirx directories, when
- looked at from the vms side, do not show up as directories but as files
- If I go to the ultrix system and rename the directory, then it will
- sho up as a directory. To make matters worse, if I rename it back to the
- original directory name, then it shows up on vms as a file again.
-
- for example:
- ultix directory: junk
- should sho up on vms as: junk.dir;1
- but it shows up as: junk.;1
-
- any ideas on what is wrong????

-
- p.s. I've given up on ultrix link files...I can't even begin to discribe the
- problems I am having with those....topic for another day perhaps....
