  10. We have a number of NFS volumes that are mounted automatically at boot-up.  
  11. Sometimes a machine is not available and the volume numbers (e.g. NFS3:) for 
  12. the others nolonger the smae as they usually are.  Does someone have a script 
  13. of some description that allows a logical name to be given to each volume in 
  14. an invariant fashion?  I have now had about five calls in two hours 
  15. complaining that 'all my files have gone from NFS4:...' etc. wheras in fact 
  16. they are all there, just on NFS3:
