  11. Hello MX-ers,
  12.  
  13. We seem to be having a problem sending e-mail to a machine "gramarye.mv.com"
  14. which is gatewayed to the Internet via "mv.mv.com"-an Internet machine.
  15. Apparently, sending e-mail to the above address used to work before, when we
  16. used CMU-TEK TCP/IP.  We now use Multinet.  I re-installed MX with the
  17. Multinet netlib.  E-Mail everywhere else works.  BTW, "mv.mv.com" is a
  18. uucp gateway machine.  Now, I know that MX uses a default UUCP gateway
  19. rewrite rule, and I know that the above address, "gramarye.mv.com" does
  20. not conform to the rule..., but, it worked before.  I guess some other
  21. machine on the Internet had an MX record for it and knew about how to
  22. route it ???  I am lost at this point.  The sys admin at mv.mv.com says
  23. nothing has changed at his end.  Is this an MX problem ?  I cannot be too
  24. sure if this is the result of changing to Multinet.  Any ideas ?
