  22. applying quality assurance/control methods, theories, and research 
  23. techniques in the investigation and solution of product problems 
  24. found in manufacturing.

  26. JOB TITLE:

  28. Quality Assurance Engineer

  30. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  31.  
  32. - Conduct standard quality assurance methods to perform specific 
  33. tasks on semi-complex assignments.
  34.  
  35. - Participate in the review process of new or refined equipment 
  36. inspection/test plans and procedures, material processes, problem
  37. investigation, resolution report preparation and procedures or 
  38. methods to monitor and improve quality.
  39.  
  40. - Provide assistance in disposition of defective material.
  41.  
  42. - Assist in the review and update of corrective action plans to 
  43. improve quality levels.
  44.  
  45. - Review assembly fixtures and equipment, assembly and inspection 
  46. specifications and evaluate results with corrective recommendations 
  47. in technical application and analysis.
  48.  
  49. - Review literature, patents, and current practices to keep abreast of
  50. new quality assurance methods.
  51.  
  52. - Reviews corrective actions recommended on audit reports for adequacy 
  53. and to maintain a continuing awareness of quality problems.
  54.  
  55. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  56.  
  57. - Requires a B.S. degree in engineering science or equivalent.
  58.  
  59. - Minimum 1 year experience in quality engineering.
