- Thank you to all those (fewer than I expected!) who responded to the
- `home users' survey. I may run this again for all users in the UK at
- some point in the future, though lots of people don't read uk.misc
- (even users on our own system Bv<) so it still won't be a comprehensive
- (never mind scientific) study.
-
- The original posting follows below, then come the results summarised in
- a useful way...

- RESULTS
- =======
-
- Where someone responded with more than one answer I picked one of the
- responses arbitrarily (usually the more `home' response, in fact).
-
- Nothing particularly useful was present in the answers to the first
- question nor in the postcodes, so those results are omitted.
-
- Note that I did minimal editing of responses, so a site responding
- `Islington' to `approx location' might equally well have answered
- `London'.
-
- To most or the questions the answer is summarised as:
-
- number-giving-this-answer answer
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- 1) Number of respondents
- =====================
-
- 54
-
- 2) Do you log in, or get a feed or both? (L/F/B)

- 3) Is the site your own, commercial, from (say) a Uni, or from work? (O/C/E/W)

- 11 W
