- This annoys me too, and I'm a cyclist. People cycling without lights deserve
- to be squidged, because you're quite simply invisible. I always point this out
- to people I see cycling without lights.
-
- However, I have to confess to having ridden on the pavement recently <gasp>
- because I had forgotten to bring my lights because I hadn't thought it would
- become dark so early. I would dismount if I encountered any pedestrians. I
- have to say that I would rather argue with a police officer about cycling on
- the pavement than be squidged by a car driver who hadn't seen me...
-
- (Don't worry, I've got my lights with me today)
