- As a regular user, I can only say that once you know how to use it it
- does work well - it just requires the panache of Lawrence of Arabia, the
- power and stamina of Daley Thompson and the devil-may-care insouciance of
- Cyrano de Bergerac. Plus you mustn't worry too much about things like
- car insurance. :-)
-
- But seriously, I find, and I think most Coventry people do, that it works
- exceptionally well after an initial pain/learniing barrier. The trick is
- not to hesitate when entering or leaving and not to brake sharply. Of
- course, it is difficult to handle for newcomers. Some days you are just
- whizzing round it in the usual daze only to be confronted by a `learner'
- who appears to be completely stationary in the transfer lane frozen in
- a state of catatonic panic.

- There's not much in Coventry but road systems!

- Well it works pretty well in places. I suppose the comparison with Coventry
- is something like Birmingham with the tight curvy inner ring road with
- thousands of half-crazed drivers hurtling around it with total precision
- weaving around newcomers wetting themselves with fear...
-
- Should this discussion continue as `Road systems in different towns' ?
