- I learned to drive on Coventry's ring road (along with a few other
- roads), and hated it. Once I passed my test, though, I got the hang of it
- very quickly - once you're used to it, it's nowhere near as bad as you
- first think. I agree that to someone who doesn't drive along it very
- often, it must be absolute hell, especially at peak times.

- I think one of the main problems is that the locals drive on and off
- it quite confidently, whilst the strangers in town dither at all the
- junctions wondering which way to go and why all these cars are coming
- at them - each much to the irritation of the other, each getting in
- each others way. In this respect, it's not very different to most
- other road systems.
