  20. I learned to drive on Coventry's ring road (along with a few other
  21. roads), and hated it. Once I passed my test, though, I got the hang of it
  22. very quickly - once you're used to it, it's nowhere near as bad as you
  23. first think. I agree that to someone who doesn't drive along it very
  24. often, it must be absolute hell, especially at peak times.

  26. I think one of the main problems is that the locals drive on and off
  27. it quite confidently, whilst the strangers in town dither at all the
  28. junctions wondering which way to go and why all these cars are coming
  29. at them - each much to the irritation of the other, each getting in
  30. each others way. In this respect, it's not very different to most
  31. other road systems.

  33. I can think of many places I hate driving much more than Coventry ring road.
