  22.     I think that this is because the attendants are lazy and just keep
  23.   hitting the "enter" key on the credit card thingie.  This is instead
  24.   of choosing the right grade of gasoline, etc.  If you ever watch them,
  25.   they just type in the sale amount and then hit the same key about
  26.   six times.
