  23. spreading in New York and several other inner city areas in the U.S.
  24. TB _is_ spread by saliva, and can be just as lethal as it was last 
  25. century, if you get one of the drug-immune strains.  We may yet see
  26. a return to enforcement of those spitting laws.
  27.   If we don't all get wiped out by some viral hemorrhagic fever first.
