- pro-choice view cannot be established by categorical statements about
- abstract rights of autonomy. Rather, you have to consider just what
- the z/e/f is, how great a burden pregnancy is, and whether it is
- appropriate to require the woman to bear that burden in accordance
- with our normal concepts of responsibility.

- I don't know what you mean by gender equivalence. If it is a rational
- conception of fairness it can't require impossible things, like male
- pregnancy. Possibly men ought to bear some additional burden to
- compensate for the special burdens that women bear and that only they
- can bear. I don't have any objection in principle to that, although I
- don't know what the specifics would be.
