I have seen/heard males being called "bitches". In fact, I'm sure it's
more insulting for a male than for a female (referring to a FEMALE DOG).
Incidentally, I believe very strongly that when it's used against a
female, I believe it is ALSO referring to a FEMALE DOG. I know it most
certainly is when I use it. It seems more insulting than just saying:
"You dog!", or whatever.
