- First, I'd like to thank H. Sakata for his reply. Yes,
- I know this is a suck-up, but I don't care. Sue me.

- Second, before we embark on a 'scientific' proof for the
- existence of God, I'd like to point out that there isn't
- any 'scientific' proof that *we* exist.

- I've found that I have less philosophical problems with
- situations like this once I realized that scientific theories
- are never factual. They are not facts, they are not Truth.
- I see them as mathematical descriptions, nothing more. If the
- theory is *really* good, then they're astonishingly convenient
- descriptions, but they're still descriptions.

- General comments on "Kids are Precious Gifts..."

- First off, kids are kids. Nothing more, nothing less. Any value
- we place on them has more to do with our perception of them than
- anything else. Some people see them as "Precious Gifts", and others
- see them as "Rug-rats that mess up my life".

- Any statement that starts with "OBJECT is/are ADJECTIVE" is a statement
- about that individual's perception of OBJECT and should be considered
- as such.
