  16.   First, I'd like to thank H. Sakata for his reply.  Yes,
  17.   I know this is a suck-up, but I don't care.  Sue me.

  19.   Second, before we embark on a 'scientific' proof for the
  20.   existence of God, I'd like to point out that there isn't
  21.   any 'scientific' proof that *we* exist.

  23.   I've found that I have less philosophical problems with
  24.   situations like this once I realized that scientific theories
  25.   are never factual.  They are not facts, they are not Truth.
  26.   I see them as mathematical descriptions, nothing more.  If the
  27.   theory is *really* good, then they're astonishingly convenient
  28.   descriptions, but they're still descriptions.

  30. General comments on "Kids are Precious Gifts..."
  31.  
  32.   First off, kids are kids.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Any value
  33.   we place on them has more to do with our perception of them than
  34.   anything else.  Some people see them as "Precious Gifts", and others
  35.   see them as "Rug-rats that mess up my life".

  37.   Any statement that starts with "OBJECT is/are ADJECTIVE" is a statement
  38.   about that individual's perception of OBJECT and should be considered
  39.   as such.
