  27. But, you see, my ideal relationship is a relationship between two 
  28. individuals who retain their own individuality and the responsibility
  29. for their own decisions while still being emotionally committed.  You
  30. can be a partner and still be a person; I would expect someone in such
  31. a relationship to tell her SO about such things and solicit his/her
  32. advice, but the decision itself still should be hers.

  34. Trygve   (Who has been a partner in more than one business--but that has
  35.           never stopped me from making investment decisions for myself;
  36.           nor has my doing so strained the partnership.  But then, whether
  37.           in business or romance, I don't generally get involved with
  38.           control freaks.)
