- That depends on the person, respect has nothing to do with what
- type of job you hold. It depends on who you are as a person that counts.
- A decent person who treats others decently and doesn't expect something
- for nothing is worthy of respect. A hard worker is always worthy of
- respect regardless of the amount of money or education or job status.
- As for basic respect for my fellow human beings? I've found that most
- human beings are a waste of space and resources and take selfishness and
- pettyness to a fine art. I'll give anyone the benefit of doubt, but
- no-one gets my respect unless they earn it.
