- I've never been reduced to this level, but I have to admit that my life
- wouldn't be nearly as simple if someone hadn't invented those checks
- that come with a pressure-sensitive form underneath each check, so that
- you can't lose track of what you've written. I'd probably be a little
- bit more organized if someone else's funds were in the same account-
- but I'd much prefer to have separate accounts. (My bank also offers
- a nifty 800 number which you can call to check whether specific checks
- have been cashed. I LOVE technology.)
