- But what about the money arguements you had *during* the marriage? Wouldn't
- it have made you feel better to have some money socked away that she wasn't
- going to spend on frivolities? Wouldn't it have helped to have spelled
- out how much she had to pay towards expenses, or how much you were going
- to put into her account if she didn't work? And if she kept breaking
- agreements or kept going after your part, then wouldn't you have wanted
- to *know* that? Seems like it would still work when the relationship
- worked and might help reduce some potential stress. I think it's the only
- way to work things out if there's difference in incomes or spending
- styles. Otherwise, the outgo partner is going to feel penned in and the
- income partner is going to feel used. Wish I'd done it before.
