  18. Well, in case it makes you feel better, I don't this is always (or even
  19. usually the case).  I think most men tend to be much more interested in
  20. sex towards the beginning of a relationship (in a cynical mood, I might
  21. say that it usually reaches its peak shortly before the relationship
  22. starts), while there is a much greater tendency for women to desire sex
  23. more and more strongly as they become more comfortable and secure with
  24. their partners--if memory serves (and there are some darned good memories
  25. there), all of the women I've been involved with have become steadilly
  26. more interested in sex as the relationship progressed.  (Indeed, even the
  27. few who initially complained that my sex drive was too high tended to 
  28. outstrip me within a few months.)
