- Not that I'm an expert or anything, but the idea of 'sexual peak'
- statistics aplying to individuals is pretty silly. It doesn't
- matter what the average person wants, it's what your SO wants.
- Which means that if what they want is enchillada whipcream, you
- have to cope, but I digress.
-
- My guess on this stuff is related to differences in what people think
- sex is for. People who think sex is recreation act very similarly,
- modulo cultural gender based communication differences. Peope who
- think sex is an affirmation of life-long commitment, ditto. Many
- men unfortunately think sex is a way to get some loud, bothersome
- hormones to shut up. (no data on if there are women with this
- particular attitude, but it wouldn't surprise me.) If the male
- partner thinks that, and female partner wants 'growing closer' sex,
- or anything different at all, they are going to have a severe
- problem with objectives.
-
- I'd settle for being able to get a straight answer to the question
- of what someone thinks sex is for, nine times in ten. (*snurk*
- and kraken just want to do macrame.)
