- the young ones.

- I think it depends a lot on where you end up. After I left grad school
- I lived in the Boston area for a while, and found there were always things
- to do where I was meeting other singles -- for example, I signed up for
- some fun classes at the Boston Center for Adult Education. But here
- in New Haven, it's been tougher. The city itself is pretty dead, and
- while Yale offers a lot of performing arts stuff that's not really the
- sort of activity where you can make new friends easily.
