- I wish that was the the case. It's certainly not true in the Las Cruces/ El
- Paso area. We've got many male-dominated employers such as White Sands Missile
- Range, NASA, Fort Bliss and a host of other military and research
- organizations. In addition, people in this part of the country tend to get
- married at a _very_ young age (about 18-20). I've taken to looking at ring
- fingers, and it's a rare sight when I see one without a rock on it.
