  14. I once asked a clerk at the Prince George's MD court house
  15. how much it would cost to get a copy of a will from microfilm.
  16. The will was from the 1600's and the handwriting very difficult
  17. to read. She said $1.00 (this was 1968 I should mention).

  19. A few days later, I received a very nice copy of the will:
  20. transcribed and typed. Can't beat that old-time service!

  22. Recently I was at the Otsego Co NY court house and asked how
  23. how much it would cost for me to slap a piece of paper (from
  24. a probate file) onto the photocopier and hit the print button
  25. (and that I didn't need the paper certified). Answer: $4.00
