  12. The Sutro Library has a wonderful collection of books, magazines, and micro-
  13. films and fiches. If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area the Sutro, the
  14. Oakland LDS center, Archives, Stanford, and UCB are the five key places to try.

  16. Because Sutro is officially part of the San Francisco library system and is
  17. funded by SF, the recent budget problems have resulted in reduced hours.
  18. As is usual in systems run by governments, the hours are chosen to suit their
  19. own convenience and not those of the patrons; thus it is now closed on
  20. Saturday (and Sunday), and the evening hours are also a thing of the past.

  22. It is half a block from the Stonestown shopping mall, and not far at all from
  23. SFSU.
