  20. I can think of so many smart-ass replys to your posting, but I
  21. didn't think that would be Christian like.  I must say, it was
  22. tempting though(Gee, that explains why there are so many Christians
  23. including myself, are still in this spring training).

  25. Matt, you know a lot about Christianity already.  You heard that:

  34.     Everyone is a sinner.            Romans 3:10
  35.     Sinners must die.            Romans 6:23a
  36.     but God gave us the eternal life        Romans 6:23b
  37.       as a gift through Jesus 
  38.       Christ our Lord.
  39.     So, If you confess your with your       Romans 10:9-10
  40.         mouth, Jesus is Lord, and 
  41.       believe in your heart that
  42.       God raised Him from the dead,
  43.       you will be saved.

  45. Did you ever receive a gift, Matt?  I am sure you've received lots 
  46. of gifts for Christmas, Birthdays, Graduations, etc.  But, when you 
  47. saw those gifts about to be handed over to you, did you challenge your 
  48. parents, relatives, friends to MAKE you receive them?   Probably not.  
  49. You freely accepted them, becase you knew they loved you.  Right Matt?

  51. Same thing with Jesus. Eternal life in heaven is a GIFT from God.  
  52. It's up to you to accept it or you can ignore it. It's up to you, Matt.
  53. God doesn't MAKE anyone to receive him as a gift, including yourself.
  54. I know, it's too expensive of a gift.  I felt the same way, that's
  55. why it took so long before I could accept it.
