- >Hello Greg!
-
- Oh great. Our collective name has become Greg!. Not something exotic
- like 'Alexei', cryptic like 'FJ', usable for boths sexes as 'Max',
- something as simple as 'John' or as valley as 'Melinda', no, we are
- 'Greg!'.
-
- Of course, this does make life simpler in a way, instead of having to
- write about the 'GLBO* on the internet' - wich makes leading a PC life
- much more difficult as we have to keep track of which of those
- abbreviations we have put first on the last occasions so we can rotate
- LBO*G, BO*LG etc. correctly - we can write about 'Greg!'
-
- I must say that I really hate that '!' on the end of 'Greg!' It is so
- utterly pointless. Makes us look like we are immature and screaming for
- attention. I want a vote to either take it off or make parodize it, by
- using something bigger than one '!', maybe a '??' or something.
-
- How did this come about, anyway? I didn't see anything on ~announce
- about this. Was there a call for votes that I missed? Hey, I would have
- wanted my vote to be heard on this one too, y'know.
-
- Say, what are the people on misc.kids called, anyway? I mean, suppose I
- barge in there and call them 'Melissa' when they really are 'Bud.'
- Gawd, that would be so impolite. I'd hate to have to remember
- talk.bizarre's name, it is bound to be something like
- IU^&*FGTSDFGDVCBBNKJRT@#!@!@#$#%^&UIYHKJkjkjui. Is there a list
- of names I can ftp from somewhere?
-
- >I am new to Internet
-
- You're kidding.
-
- >and read your message on soc.motss
- >and am just wondering if you receive this message. I enjoyed reading
- >your message and that is why I am writing to you!
-
- Well, with Greg! being around 80.000 people, someone was bound to post
- something to appeal to you. I guess you'll be seeing lots more.
-
- >Happy Thanksgiving!
-
- This part of Greg! doesn't celebrate that, but thanks anyway. Same to ya.
-
- >Ron
- (Puts real friendly smile on)
- Welcome Ron. I must say your demuffinization is quite original. Forgive
- me for the above, but I just had to.
- FJ!! (I've met
- the enemy, and
- the enemy is
- Greg!)
