- one more point: when i do this, i don't mention that i am gay
- (although it usually comes up). i like to focus the attention on the
- comment, not on me. i find that it's way too easy for people to
- trivialize and slough off what i am saying if they know right away
- that i am gay (a la "those gay people are so sensitive" or "you just
- think that because you are gay").
