  20. Sixteen of Colorado's 63 counties voted against Amendment 2.  You can
  21. fault Colorado and Glenwood Springs, but probably not Durango; La Plata
  22. county voted solidly against it.  El Paso county (Colo. Spgs) voted more
  23. than 2-1 for Amendment 2.

  44. but some companies to consider are Coors, Storage Technology,
  45. US West and US West Cellular, any subsidiary of TCI, Inc, the
  46. large cable tv conglomerate, and Exabyte Corp.

  48. One other company that should be made to notice is the Chrysler
  49. Corporation.  The head of CFV, Will Perkins, owns one of the largest
  50. Chrysler dealerships in the state.  Since he is largely responsible
  51. for CFV's funding, they should be aware of the consequences.

  53. The front page of the Colorado Springs paper had an article today
  54. on the cancellation of a number of conventions that had been 
  55. scheduled for Colorado because of Amendment 2.  It also mentioned
  56. the potential boycots.  This suggests to me that it will be an 
  57. effective tactic.
