- Sixteen of Colorado's 63 counties voted against Amendment 2. You can
- fault Colorado and Glenwood Springs, but probably not Durango; La Plata
- county voted solidly against it. El Paso county (Colo. Spgs) voted more
- than 2-1 for Amendment 2.

- A few more addresses for you:
-
- Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce
- 2 North Cascade Ave
- Colo. Spgs, Co 80903
-
- Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau
- 104 South Cascade Ave
- Colo. Spgs, Co 80903

- I don't have the addresses of too many Colorado-based businesses,
- but some companies to consider are Coors, Storage Technology,
- US West and US West Cellular, any subsidiary of TCI, Inc, the
- large cable tv conglomerate, and Exabyte Corp.
-
- One other company that should be made to notice is the Chrysler
- Corporation. The head of CFV, Will Perkins, owns one of the largest
- Chrysler dealerships in the state. Since he is largely responsible
- for CFV's funding, they should be aware of the consequences.
-
- The front page of the Colorado Springs paper had an article today
- on the cancellation of a number of conventions that had been
- scheduled for Colorado because of Amendment 2. It also mentioned
- the potential boycots. This suggests to me that it will be an
- effective tactic.
