-
- It's an interesting "standup" movie: Sandra's act is broken up
- with footage of a stripper "Shisonna" (pronounced to sound like
- Madonna) and several pretentious interludes with a female model.
-
- But if you watch the movie -- which is worth seeing -- then listen
- to the tapes first. The stylised production doesn't really lend
- itself to "getting" jokes: you'll laugh, but you'll laugh a hell
- of a lot more if you don't have to stretch to understand the humour.

- >It supposedly has songs and monologues that never made it to the

-
- From memory, the movie doesn't include the "White Christmas" sketch,
- where Sandra plays the part of the elder sister in an all-American
- family. ("Oh, Chip - you're so cute! I wish you weren't my brother so
- I could fuck you!")
-
- It also doesn't include the Nuclear Apocolypse fantasy. Sandra imagines
- herself one of the survivors of a nuclear holocaust ("only the toughest
- have survived. Tina Turner is with us"). Madonna has also survived,
- but Sean [Penn] is dead. The routine ends with: "That's my most recent
- nuclear holocaust fantasy, and my favourite to date."
-
- The movie also misses "Women of rock and roll," where Sandra and
- Stevie Nicks form a lasting bond, and a few other routines, including
- an audience abuse session. Frankly, the movie's good, but the
- record is much funnier.
-
- >Anyone have a copy they are willing to sell??
-
- No way, man. I've only got the tape, and I still listen to it.

- What do we have to show for this last fifteen minutes?
