  48. Indeed it does, particularly since last year at this time,
  49. my father was adamantly opposed to my bringing Bob to our
  50. Thanksgiving gathering.   My mother persuaded my father to change
  51. his mind -- twisted his arm somehow-- boy, would I have 
  52. liked to witness *that* drama -- and that's how Bob first 
  53. met my parents.  It turned out to be a remarkably positive 
  54. experience for all concerned.
