  24. The figures I've got say Measure 9 lost in Deschutes Co. (Bend) 
  25. by 56% to 43%, a slightly lower margin than in the rest of the state.
  26. If you want to patronize someplace whose politics are better than the 
  27. skiing, try Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, who placed several huge 
  28. anti-9 ads in the Oregonian.
