  27.    Actually, the primary role of the CMU drama school *is* to
  28.    prepare professional actors.  That's undoubtedly why they
  29.    booted those students.

  31. But, I still can't help considering two CMU alumni -- Renee Auberjenoi
  32. or Sada Thompson.  Both would have been booted by the standards used
  33. against the class of 1981 -- he is rather effeminate (subjective
  34. opinion), and she is overweight.

  36.    Really, the school's overall emphasis
  37.    over the past decade-and-a-half or so has shifted towards
  38.    professionalism.  The music school, too.

  40. Should the school be prejudging which actors a casting director may
  41. want in the future?
