Of course, the red in my beard is really only easily visible
in bright light, and when we were all at Rooster Rock, I'm sure
there were more visually exciting things than counting the
different colors in my beard. ;-)

My mother attributes the red in my beard to my Great-Grandfather
Romanovsky, who wore a large, brick-red handlebar moustache --
the only person on either side of my family anyone can remember
who had red facial hair, or red hair *period*.
