  16. Actually, this was never a particularly controversial point in
  17. Roman Catholic moral theology, not that it's particularly indicative
  18. of any largesse on their part.  It is useful to realize that 1000
  19. years of Thomist philosophy yields a grindstone somewhat more
  20. sophisticated than your typical Bible Belt Fundamentalist shouting
  21. about "choice".
