- I remember reading about their decision to include sexual orientation
- a few months ago. Unfortunately, they seem reluctant to state it
- in literature that they send out in mass mailings. I received a 4
- page letter from them two weeks ago asking me to donate funds, but
- not ONCE in the letter did they mention that their agenda included
- fighting for the rights of people imprisoned solely because of their
- sexual orientation. They DID mention a list of other protected
- rights. I perceived this omission as a way for Amnesty to get funds
- from someone who might not contribute if their full agenda was made
- known.
-
- Has anyone else seen a mailing like this? Can anyone verify that
- sexual orientation was added to their list of protected rights?
