  23. My husband watched that segment with me. He was stunned by the woman
  24. in the parking lot, who was yelling that "you people are trying to
  25. ruin this country" and so on. He asked me later what on earth makes
  26. people so scared and so hateful. I think it was the first time he
  27. really realized, in his gut, that there is a level of discrimination 
  28. that is more than just
  29. politely firing a person or impersonally not voting for them, a
  30. level that involves yelling stupid things in parking lots, a level
  31. that can cross the line to violence easily.

  33. So I am pleased with MacN/L for airing it just for that scene alone.
