  19. actually, *last* time we talked about this (as far as I know), we got
  20. to the point where a bunch of people said "yeah, a newsgroup for
  21. informational postings might be useful", and then no one agreed to do
  22. the actual work of creating the group.

  24. It's not *that* complex. Someone needs to post an official RFD to the
  25. appropriate newsgroups. We talk about what a good or bad idea
  26. soc.motss.info is for at least three weeks, until we all come to a
  27. vague consensus about what the group should be like, what it's charter
  28. should be, if it should be moderated, who moderates it (Roger Klorese
  29. volunteered once, so did Bob Donahue and a few others), etc. Then
  30. someone posts an official call for votes, tabulates votes for a few
  31. weeks, and reports the result. It's not that big a deal, but it is a
  32. Responsibility.

  35. with your INN help sheet and all. I bet *you* could run the RFD/CFV
  36. just fine. We'd all love you for it.
