  18. This really pisses me off!  Right now in Colorado (and you obviously don't
  19. live here, so what do you care?) the governor is trying to find a way to
  20. have the amendment declared unconstitutional.  At CSU (which you obviously
  21. don't attend, so I suppose you're free to assume anything you want), the
  22. leaders of the school are coming up with ways to work around the amendment
  23. so in case it DOES remain an amendment, gays/lesbians will still not be
  24. able to be discriminated against.  I personally voted NO on Amendment 2, and
  25. I am not gay, I simply feel that discrimination is wrong (and I'm from
  26. Mississippi if that matters to you, which I doubt it will), and that is
  27. why I am so pissed off about this big "Boycott Colorado" campaign.  First
  28. of all, what do they tell you in school when you are a child:  Don't 
  29. succumb to peer pressure.  What in the hell do you think a Boycott is???
  30. I have seen many boycotts work in Mississippi, they worked so well in
  31. fact that the NAACP shut down MANY family owned/operated grocery stores,
  32. restaurants, convenience shops (by the way, actual PEOPLE with actual FAMILIES 
  33. TO SUPPORT and actual CHILDREN TO FEED worked at these stores...well, until 
  34. they were closed down).  Then, NATURALLY, since there aren't a whole LOT of jobs
  35. just lying around, they joined the millions of Americans in the welfare lines.
  36. Is this what you want to happen?

  38.      I totally agree with the fact that Amendment TWO is a complete injustice, 
  39. and IMO is COMPLETELY UNCONSTITUTIONAL, however, there ARE better ways to go 
  40. about repealing this amendment than to hurt innocent people in Colorado who 
  41. depend upon tourism to survive...  FEED THEIR CHILDREN...  BUY CLOTHES FOR 
  42. THEIR CHILDREN...

  44.      An obvious answer is to lobby for a NATIONAL amendment.  But whatever 
  45. you decide, I hope that you don't forget who you're putting out of work 
  46. by your "innocent" BOYCOTT.  You say that HATE IS NOT A FAMILY VALUE, well 
  47. neither is putting someone out of work for something that they had no control 
  48. over (and that's assuming that they voted NO on 2)...selfishness is also not 
  49. a family value!
