  17. justify his efforts to exterminate them.

  31. In any case, I wasn't just referring to Chetniks.
  32. 'Cro' had drawn the Serbian symbol (it's not a Chetnik symbol).
  33. The Serbs in general opposed Hitler, while the Ustashis
  34. (who I was referring to as Cro's 'kind'---not Croatians in general)
  35. clearly favored Hitler.

  37. This was reflected in the fact that according to the Nazis,
  38. Serbia was officially an occupied country under direct German
  39. military rule.  The Independent State of Croatia (NDH) was a
  40. nominally independent Nazi co-belligerent.
