- Holly: God forbid the day that anybody uses the actions of the IRS to
- justify any behavior.
-
- You wouldn't pay your accountant $10 to track $1 and people who make
- millions aren't going to pay somebody $1,000's to go over everything a
- dozen times. The invoices were posted, the tax was paid at what point
- do you decide to close the books on years past ?
-
- I think it was around a year ago that Stanford was caught cheating (in
- no uncertain terms) on their tax returns... perhaps an example should
- have been made to the other "pampered colleges and universities" and
- they should have closed the place.
-
- It is a matter of degree and the power's in charge blew it big time with
- Helmsley, now your tax dollars go to paying for her upkeep in prison.
