  50.     Kemal Arikan, the Turkish consul general in Los Angeles, is
  51.     assassinated by two terrorists while driving to work.

  54.     Prelude to grisly murder. A gift and import shop belonging to
  55.     Orhan Gunduz, the honorary Turkish consul in Boston, is blown up.
  56.     Gunduz receives an ultimatum: Either he gives up his honorary 
  57.     position or he will be "executed". He refuses. "Responsibility" - 
  58.     the word seems to cringe when used in such a context - is claimed 
  59.     by JCAG.

  62.     Two dead, sixteen injured in an explosion at a movie theater (which
  63.     frequently shows Turkish films). ASALA claims credit for the attack.

  66.     Kani Gungor, the commercial attache at the Turkish Embassy in Ottawa,
  67.     is seriously wounded in an attack by Armenian terrorists in the 
  68.     garage of his apartment house. ASALA claims responsibility.

  70.         April 24, 1982 - Dortmund, West Germany
  71.     Several Turkish-owned businesses suffer extensive damage in bomb 
  72.     attacks. The "New Armenian Resistance Organization" claims 
  73.     responsibility.

  75.         May 4, 1982 - Cambridge, Massachusetts
  76.     Orhan Gunduz, the Turkish honorary consul in Boston, would not bow 
  77.     to the Armenian terrorist ultimatum that he give up his title of 
  78.     "honorary consul". Now he is attacked and murdered in cold blood.
  79.     President Reagan orders an all-out manhunt-to no avail. An eye-
  80.     witness who gave a description of the murderer is shot down.  He 
  81.     survives... but falls silent. One of the most revolting "triumphs" in 
  82.     the senseless, mindless history of Armenian terrorism. Such a murder 
  83.     brings absolutely nothing - except an ego boost for the murderer 
  84.     within the Armenian terrorist underworld, which is already wallowing 
  85.     in self-satisfaction.
