-
- No ! This kuRaL says that just like all the knowledge contained
- in literature starts with 'a, aa..' alphabet so is 'every thing'
- which has a beginning in the The First Cause (primordia/primeval God).
- Aadi_bagavan means primorial/primeval God . Bagavan comes from
- 'pagu' = split, divide. God is often described one who is the
- Greeat Dispenser who is also called in Tamil as 'padi aLappavan'.
- God in the sense of First Cause is what is meant aadi_bagavan.
-
- How can aadi and bagavan as parents of ThiruvaLLuvar make sense ?
- Can ThiruvaLLuvar's parents were can be considered as prime
- force as to be described as 'muthaRRE ulagu' ?
- Only those who don't understand this kuRaL can say that 'aadi'
- and 'pagavan' were ThiruvaLLuvar's parents. But if you take the
- view of 'aadi_pagavan' as 'ammai_appar' ( = Mother-Father) in the
- sense of Mother-Father of all ( not just ThiruvaLLuvar alone)
- then it will make sense but there again 'aadi' is NOT a name
- of 'lady' in the normal sense and it is not separable from
- 'pagavan' .
