  35. It's useless to instigate the sentiments among Taiwanese, who largely
  36. were people colonized by the Japanese before 1946 and still endear the
  37. old days. Taiwanese is a special breed of the ethnic Chinese. People
  38. who are 50 years or older are influenced deeply by the Japanese culture;
  39. young people under 30 years are strongly influenced by Japanese pop culture.
  40. Japanese pop figures are idols among them.
